Prof. Dimitrios Papakyriakopoulos is Assistant Professor in the department of Business Administration of the University of West Attica. He holds a B.Sc. in Informatics, an M.Sc. in Information Systems from the Athens University of Economics and Business and a Ph.D. in Information Systems and Supply Chain Management also from the Athens University of Economics and Business. He has worked as a researcher in various EU-funded projects and as a special advisor in e-government for the Greek government. His research interests include information systems, data science, business analytics and operations and supply chain management. He has published in several scientific journals including Decision Support Systems, Expert Systems with Applications, Sensors, Industrial Management and Data Systems, Electronic Markets etc.
